Take a trip back in time. Explore old alleyways of Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka to feel Japan from several centuries ago, and climb to the top of Kiyomizu temple for a spectacular bird's eye view of Kyoto.

For dinner, try Omi beef, a special region of Japan known for their beef quality; often rated higher than Kobe.
