ITINERARY:

DAY 1 DEPART HOMETOWN/TOKYO

Board your nonstop flight from Los Angeles (LAX) to Narita International Airport (NRT) in Tokyo, Japan.

DAY 2 ARRIVE IN TOKYO

After arriving in Tokyo, you’ll take the airport limousine bus on your own to the Hyatt Regency in Shinjuku for a five-night stay. Shinjuku is now one of Tokyo’s most important districts. It boasts a thriving business district with soaring skyscrapers.

DAY 3 TOKYO TOUR (Half day)

Set off to explore a handful of the city’s most famous and historical landmarks. Take pleasure in a panoramic view of Tokyo from the main observation platform of the Tokyo Tower. Then advance to the Meiji Shrine for an understanding of Japanese architecture nestled in a peaceful, picturesque area. Drive by the Akasaka guest house , National diet building. Enjoy a pleasant walk through the East Garden of the Imperial Palace, a place of historical interest and scenic beauty. Visit the inner moat, 15 foot thick walls and pine trees surrounding the 250 acre fortress, home of the Emperor and Empress. Tour ends at approximately 1:00pm, at the world’s famous Ginza district, a posh shopping mecca featuring brands like Louis Vuitton, Prada, and Chanel, this is window shopping at its finest. Highlights include the Sony Building and Hakuhinkan Toy Park. Another must-see attraction is the Wako Department Store, a Neo-Rennaisance-style building known for its impressive clock tower. The Ginza Shopping District is also a great destination for entertainment. The Kabuki-za Theater presents traditional Kabuki Theatre daily. On the side streets of Ginza, there are clusters of art galleries, small bars, and food-stalls built in a tunnel underneath Harumi-dori.

DAY 4-6 TOKYO

Explore the city on your own for the next few days. Otherwise, escape the big city bustle and explore Mt. Fuji. You’ll cruise on pristine Lake Ashi, and a ride on the Mt. Komagatake Ropeway which boasts great views of the surrounding Hakone National Park then zoom back to Tokyo by Bullet train. Another option is to go on a Nikko World Heritage tour famous for the lavish decorated Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Kirifuri Falls.

DAY 7 TOKYO DEPARTURE

After check-out, transfer by airport limousine bus to Narita airport for your flight home.
