Enjoy an exciting combination of contrasts in Japan. Start your tour with an urban jungle experience in Tokyo; see iconic locations including the Tokyo Tower, Meiji Shrine, the Imperial Palace and a lot more. Spend your free days exploring Tokyo’s trendy shops or popular parks and dining. After the three nights, we will take you to the northern edge of Japan, Hokkaido. Where you will be staying in the largest city on the island, Sapporo. This city is known outside Japan for having hosted the 1972 Winter Olympics, the first ever held in Asia, and for the city’s annual Yuki Matsuri, internationally referred to as the Sapporo Snow Festival.

DAY 01 DEPART HOMETOWN/TOKYO
Board your flight to Tokyo.
DAY 02 ARRIVE TOKYO
Touch down at the Tokyo Airport and catch a shuttle transfer to the hotel for check – in.
DAY 03 TOKYO CITY TOUR (B)
Daily breakfast will be hosted by the hotel. Our tour will start with a panoramic cityscape from the main observation platform of the Tokyo Tower—Japan’s version of the Eiffel Tower. From there, you’ll head to the Meiji Shrine, a Shinto shrine built in the old style of all-wood construction amid a peaceful forest. Drive by the Akasaka Palace and the National Diet Building, on the way to the Imperial Palace and its fabled East Garden. An inner moat, pine trees, and 15-foot thick walls surround the 250-acre fortress—originally the Edo Castle—that the Emperor and Empress call home. The day’s tour ends at the Ginza shopping district, where you’ll be free to explore on your own.
DAY 04 TOKYO (B)
You’ll have the whole day free to see the sights of Tokyo as you please or perhaps join our optional tour to see one of Japan’s most iconic wonder, Mount Fuji. Since ancient times it have been the object of awe and admiration as a sacred mountain and a divinity of fire.
DAY 05 TOKYO/SAPPORO (B)
Hotel check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Sapporo. Upon arrival at New Chitose Airport, you will be met by our local representative and transfer to the hotel. Check – in and have the day at leisure.
DAY 06 SAPPORO CITY TOUR (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a 10 minute walk to Sapporo Chuo Bus Terminal for your city tour. With an audio guide, the tour will take you to several sights. Hokkaido Shrine, the history of Hokkaido Shrine began in 1869 when Emperor Meiji ordered that the three deities of the Hokkaido reclamation be enshrined. See Hokkaido’s famed confection, ‘Shiroi Koibito,’ being made on the production line. Enjoy shopping after the production line tour as well at the parks shop where beautifully made chocolates line the windows. Then, walk freely through Central Wholesale Market which opens each morning with vegetables, fruit and seafood all freshly brought from various areas in Hokkaido. The tour disbands at the Sapporo Bus Terminal. Afternoon at leisure.
DAY 07 SAPPORO (B)
Enjoy the day at leisure.
DAY 08 SAPPORO/TOKYO DEPARTURE (B)
After hotel check-out, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Tokyo to catch your flight back to the U.S.
